The Michelin Guide Singapore 2019 has just been announced, and looking back at last year with a total of 39 stars—34 one-star and five two-stars—handed out, will this be the comeback year of the very-missed three-star appellation?
The annual event took place at Capella Sentosa, a venue that’s befitting of the distinction and glamour that is the Michelin Guide. We anticipated Bacchanalia seeing its second star this year, or perhaps Odette finally attaining that third star!
The air was heavy with anticipation, and with all the electricity buzzing in the air, the first star of the evening was awarded—first to those who managed to stay consistent throughout the year—to Alma! Following that, these are the remaining 27 (for a total of 28) restaurants who deservedly kept their 1-star crowns:
